The City Ambition fund is an opportunity for people, businesses, and organisations, who have an idea that aligns with 欧美成人鈥檚 aims to access funding and see their projects come to life.听
The fund was developed as a new project for our second term after we received feedback during a consultation that levy payers wanted to see a more transparent and strategic allocation of our external funding.听
This year, the focus of project applications was on the environment, from adding greenery in an office to help with biodiversity to bike storage solutions that promote active travel; we wanted to hear from projects that benefit the city centre while addressing some of the challenges of the environmental and nature crises.听 After receiving a number of applicants we have selected the top 4 to receive funding.
2025 Successful Applicants:
- 鈥 improving the exterior of its premises on Dumballs Road using large planters, earthy tones and creating a calm, welcoming environment.
- 鈥 improving urban biodiversity and creating green spaces with their ‘Hedge in a Box’ scheme.
- A Playful, Green City Centre 鈥 exploring how the city centre can become more playful, welcoming and nature-rich for children and families.
- – giving new life and upcycling household items, clothing, toys, and more.

Datblygwyd y gronfa fel prosiect newydd ar gyfer ein hail dymor ar 么l i ni dderbyn adborth yn ystod ymgynghoriad fod talwyr yr ardoll eisiau gweld dyraniad mwy tryloyw a strategol o鈥檔 cyllid allanol.听
Eleni, rydym yn bwriadu ariannu syniadau sydd 芒 ffocws amgylcheddol neu gynaliadwy. O ychwanegu gwyrddni mewn swyddfa i helpu gyda bioamrywiaeth i syniadau storio beiciau sy’n hyrwyddo teithio llesol; rydym am glywed gan brosiectau sydd o fudd i ganol y ddinas wrth fynd i’r afael 芒 rhai o heriau’r argyfyngau amgylcheddol a natur. Ar 么l derbyn nifer o ymgeiswyr, rydym wedi dewis y 4 gorau i dderbyn cyllid.
Ymgeiswyr Llwyddiannus 2025:
- 鈥 gwella tu allan ei safle ar Heol Dumballs gan ddefnyddio potiau planhigion i greu amgylchedd tawel a chroesawgar.
- 鈥 gwella bioamrywiaeth drefol a chreu mannau gwyrdd gyda’u cynllun ‘Gwrych mewn Blwch’.
- Canol Dinas Werdd, Chwareus 鈥 archwilio sut y gall canol y ddinas ddod yn fwy chwareus, croesawgar a chyfoethog o ran natur i blant a theuluoedd.
- 鈥 rhoi bywyd newydd ac ailgylchu eitemau cartref, dillad, teganau, a mwy.
