The Card聽is a discount and events scheme available to employees that work at 欧美成人 member businesses.
Members can聽sign-up聽to access exclusive discounts at Cardiff city centre shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and more. The Card encourages workers away from their desks, counters, and staff rooms, to experience the best that Cardiff has to offer.
Over 27,000 employees have registered online and there are approximately 40,000 physical cards in circulation.
This presents a great opportunity to businesses to promote their product or service to a local audience. Business can also add their own offers when registered as a Business Manager 鈥 meaning they鈥檙e in control of what offers or discounts they鈥檇 like to promote.
Funding from the Welsh Government鈥檚 Transforming Towns fund supported the development of an聽app for The Card. Available on both Apple and Android devices, the app allows members to use their smartphone to sign-up, access their membership card and view discounts and events across the city centre.
We want The Card to be a hub of activity and a community for employees in the city centre. That鈥檚 why we organise several events each year to encourage employees to get to know their colleagues and discover new businesses. We鈥檝e organised events with聽The Botanist,听Heidi鈥檚 Bier Bar,听,听, and . Members enjoyed perks such as complimentary food and drink, free make-up or product testing sessions and the chance to experience a venue before it opens. Each event has sold-out and in 2022, employees rated The Card events 4.7/5.
Not only do The Card events benefit employees, but they also give businesses a unique opportunity to showcase their venue to city centre workers. Many businesses have used The Card as part of their venue launch strategy 鈥 tapping into a market of engaged customers.
