Are you an organisation or individual with experience decorating city centres? Can you create a display that will attract locals and visitors to Cardiff this Christmas? 欧美成人 wants to hear from you.
We would like to decorate the entrances and/or facades of the seven arcades in Cardiff over the 2023 festive period.
The project would be delivered by 欧美成人 under the brand. City of Arcades promotes Cardiff city centre by raising awareness of its historic arcades and the city’s vibrant independent businesses.
We would like the decorations to enhance the architecture and heritage of the arcades while also creating a feeling of magic and joy among people of all ages from visitors to locals.
The majority of the sites are listed and have their own challenges and opportunities. Applicants would therefore need to take this into consideration when pitching designs.
Designs can range from arches to garlands and bespoke displays, with designers taking inspiration from the city of Cardiff, the Victorian and Edwardian architecture, and Welsh tradition.
If the project is successful, there may be an opportunity to extend it beyond Christmas 2023.
