Over the next few months two of Cardiff鈥檚 favourite bars will change their name and identity. Heidi鈥檚 on Mill Lane and Proud Mary Pub on St Mary鈥檚 Street are to be rebranded Barbara鈥檚 Bier Haus and Bonnie Rogues Pub. Neither venue will close and the transition from one brand to the other will happen seamlessly.
Thursday 24 October will see the big kick off for Bonnie Rogues with a weekend of live music, great food, happy hour, brunches and the biggest live sport.
Just in time for the Autumn internationals, Barbara鈥檚 Bier Haus will take over Heidi鈥檚 from Monday 4 November. There is a great week of fun activity planned with Ski Sunday, live music and apr猫s ski sing-a-longs, as well as the famous beer and Aperol Spritz towers.
Venue manager for Bonnie Rogues, Ben Browne, said:
鈥淲e can鈥檛 wait to introduce Bonnie to Cardiff and show the city what we can offer. Proud Mary has been amazing, but it鈥檚 time to build on what we鈥檝e been doing for the last two years.鈥
Josh Donnelly, venue manager of Barbara鈥檚 Bier Haus, added:
鈥淛ust in time for the ski season, we will be hosting the best parties and really bring the mountain vibe to Cardiff.鈥
Proud Mary on Wind Street, Swansea will also rebrand as Bonnie Rogues Pub on Thursday 24 October.
The rebrand follows an impressive first six months of trading for operator NEOS Hospitality, which has announced a 拢25 million investment to grow its party bar business and increase its footprint across the UK.

NEOS Hospitality was formed in 2024, following the REKOM UK administration, and currently operates 19 venues across the UK employing 900 staff.
