Last year,听Anne Marie听was announced as the headline act for this year鈥檚听DEPOT in the Castle听festival on Saturday 27th听July. Now organisers have revealed the full festival line up, and it promises to be a date to remember.
Announced today is听platinum-selling singer-songwriter听Tom Walker听– best known for his singles ‘Leave A Light On’ and ‘Just You And I’ – who will be making听his debut at the iconic outdoor venue.
Anne Marie听and听Tom Walker听will be joined at the castle by DJ, songwriter and producer听Jax Jones,听补苍诲听old school Garage favourites听Artful Dodger.
Mr Wilson鈥檚 Second Liners听will shake up the day with their genre-bashing New Orleans-style brass band, and here鈥檚 local talent in spades too; Welsh six-piece听CVC听will bring their unique brand of psych-pop to the line-up, and there will be sets from Cardiff singer-songwriter Cardiff听Ben Ellis听and local听DJ听Ian Davies.
This is the seventh year of the homegrown Cardiff festival, which is based in the iconic surroundings of the castle grounds. Previous听DEPOT in the Castle听headliners over the years have included听Example,听Bastille,听Craig David,听Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Grennan, Ella Eyre, Clean Bandit听补苍诲听The Fratellis.

DEPOT in the Castle听is organised and run by听DEPOT Live, the live-events arm of听– one of Cardiff’s听most successful live events venues.听 For the first time,听TK Maxx听will join听DEPOT LIVE听as presenting partner for the series of Cardiff Castle shows across the summer.
